Tayler Houston is a founder of Meincke Houston Family Law, LLC, where he specializes in complex and contentious family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, pre-nuptial agreement drafting and litigation, mediation, post-order contempt, and family violence protective order petitions. Mr. Houston takes great pride in providing a personal touch to each client, ensuring they are informed, supported, and empowered throughout the legal process. With a practicing solely centered on family law in Fulton, Forsyth, Gwinnett, Lumpkin, DeKalb, Cobb, and even counties outside the Atlanta-metro area, Mr. Houston brings a diverse set of experiences and strategic acumen to his clients.
Proudly born and raised in a small town in East Tennessee before earning his way into Emory University Law School and gaining experience working in large law firms and national organizations, Mr. Houston understands a diverse range of clients and relationships. He understands no two clients have the same personality, lives, or priorities. His job is to learn yours and craft a personalized approach to help you achieve your goals. His commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered representation is the foundation of his practice and a true point of pride that he strives for in every interaction.
Mr. Houston believes in taking bold and decisive strategies for each unique case. He takes a strong stance in contentious cases but also recognizes the value of rational compromise when it aligns with his clients’ best interests and helps achieve their goals. His litigation experience includes a successful solo jury trial and many successful bench trials, where he has proven his ability to deftly navigate the courtroom and secure favorable outcomes for his clients. Mr. Houston also takes takes great pride and continued effort in his written communication skill and believes the ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas is a critical, but often overlooked, aspect of family law litigation and a successful attorney-client relationship.
Mr. Houston has been recognized by his peers and professional achievements as one of the top young attorneys in Georgia.

Admissions:
He is admitted to practice in all Georgia State Courts and the Northern District of Georgia, allowing him to handle a wide range of cases across both state and federal jurisdictions.
Education:
Mr. Houston received dual bachelor’s degrees in History and Honors Political Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville in 2017. While at Tennessee, Mr. Houston had research papers published on the topics of surveillance and national security that have been cited in papers across the globe and has since been recognized with multiple awards for excellence in writing. Mr. Houston then moved to Atlanta where he went on to earn his J.D., with honors, from Emory University in 2020. While at Emory, he clerked for the Honorable Eleanor Ross of the Northern District of Georgia and earned recognition for his advocacy and brief writing skills, placing third in the Seigenthaler-Sutherland Cup National First Amendment Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. alongside an excellent partner.
Mr. Houston, his wife, and their young daughter live in the Johns Creek area. In his spare time, Mr. Houston enjoys playing golf, cheering on his beloved New York Knicks and Chelsea Blues, and spending every free moment he can spoiling his daughter.
